cute pictures! i was just thinking when i saw this picture... i wonder if she's pregnant... i was right! yay for you guys! thats so exciting! i cannot believe lincoln will be a big brother!
You three are adorable! As well are your children... congratulations on your newest tiny family member!!!! And I will keep you all in my prayers (your name just went into my prayer book!). I love your blog title... I was a HUGE fan of Tikki Tikki Tembo! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments on my blog! I really appreciate your insight and you have good points. It's easy to come from things with a narrower picture of my own experiences and I love to hear why others are making the decisions that they are. I think no one could argue that everyone wants what's best for our whole nation and that everybody is given a fair chance in life. My husband and I have had all kinds of life experiences so far... from having practically nothing to having a lot more...to now having enough to get by-- which makes me worry so much about people who work just as hard but have so very little. Anyways...that's a whole long conversation!!! You seem like a wonderful mom... hope you're having a great week so far!
Thanks for the link to the article. I don't know all the economists who they polled, so I don't know their party affiliation but they seem to think that capitalism is not good. I find it funny when I hear that people feel a sense of entitlement to money but they never stop to consider where it comes from. I was just corresponding with a professor of economics today and he has written about our health industry and socialism. He points out the faults with Canada and Europe's health industry and it is obvious that Obama wants to take us there. Basically if you take away the profit of a business, even in medicine, then there's no need to invest in the expensive equipment like the MRI machines or advanced care. Third party billing never has been an efficient way to do business. The other two parties (the customer and the professional) lose the decision making freedom. We are the freest nation on the globe when it comes to business but over the last 7 or 8 decades, the government has slowly added more and more constraints and made decisions for us like Medicare, Social Security, Public Education... all in the name of "equality". Equality breeds mediocrity. And in economics, it breeds socialism.

I love it! (And to think that now Ashley has two Cabbage Patch kids, instead of just the one.)
You three were--and are--the cutest.
